Information & Notes

information
  • All our candles are made or decorated by hand
  • That is why each candle is unique and never 100% identical to the product photo. A drop more or less of fragrance oil affects the intensity of the fragrance - a color pigment more or less makes the color stronger or lighter
  • Not all candles are always 100% perfect. Small scratches or wax cracks can occur when the candles are made and packed by hand. We hope you understand
  • Soy and canola wax are vegetable materials and can sometimes develop white spots on the candle surface (called frosting). This a normal reaction. Since this effect can only develop over time, it is recommended that the candles be used up within 1 year
  • It can happen that the scent fades after a few months and no longer smells as intense as it did at the beginning - that's normal too 😊
  • Our packaging material is also sustainable: we use corrugated cardboard and cushioning film to cushion the goods - the cushioning film is made from 100% recycled plastic

A few more hints

  • Never leave your candle unattended once lit
  • Always keep the candle out of the reach of children
  • Wax melts very quickly if the heat is too high. Therefore, do not place the candle in direct sunlight
  • When lighting the candle for the first time, let the candle burn until the top layer of wax is liquid. This prevents unsightly holes and the candle burns longer overall
  • So that the flame does not get too big, please shorten the wick to about 5mm before each lighting. However, please only shorten the wick when the wax has completely hardened
  • Please note that the glass gets very hot if the candle burns for a long time - so please do not touch the glass under any circumstances
  • Important: At the end, approx. 1-3 cm of residual wax should remain in the glass, otherwise there is a risk that the glass will burst
  • If the glass is broken, the candle must not be used under any circumstances
  • If the candle flickers or burns erratically, trim the wick slightly
  • A wooden wick that is too short or too long can affect the burning behavior: the wooden wick should always be about 5mm long
